Hotel Le Littoral, a family story since 1953

In 1953 , Francis and Christiane Dufour settled in Evian-les-Bains and took over the Café de l'Union. It was then that they had the idea of transforming it into a café-restaurant. The desire to welcome tourists passing through Evian came very quickly… And so the Hôtel-Restaurant l'Etoile was born.

For 35 years , they welcomed customers in good spirits, under the watchful and admiring eye of Chantal, their daughter .

In 1988 , the Grivel district was completely rebuilt, which included the demolition of the Hôtel l'Etoile. Two years later, Chantal opened a brand new establishment, the Hôtel Le Littoral .

Today, Sévrine, Chantal's daughter, has joined the adventure, to write a new page in the family history.

In turn, she practices her profession with generosity and passion, perpetuating the values passed down from generation to generation: conviviality, kindness and sharing .
